BCS implants are a single-piece immediate-loading dental implant system manufactured by Ihde Dental. They belong to the Strategic Implant concept and are designed primarily for cortical anchorage in the upper and lower jaw.
Unlike conventional two-stage implants, BCS implants are not selected only according to the height and volume of cancellous bone. The BCS Implant Series

The implants are made from a strong biocompatible titanium alloy, Ti6Al4V. They have a mechanically smoothed surface and a self-tapping thread with anti-rotation protection. The anti-rotation design helps protect the implant from unintended unscrewing before the prosthesis is fitted.
